Born to enthuse, it's been almost 20 years ago since Tim found real estate sales a natural fit. Striving to be innovative drives Tim’s success, and it is one of the key reasons his results consistently exceed expectations. Tim’s clients say he adds value and they can frequently be heard saying things like “he was eternally optimistic throughout the process” and “he’s always so enthusiastic!”

Tim wins his customers over with a sunny, affable, and gregarious disposition. His penchant for the theatrical and creative drives an engaging approach which attracts house hunters. His passion for left-field & quirky campaigns, paired with a guerrilla marketing mindset, gets his clients' properties to disrupt the monotony in an otherwise tedious landscape of real estate classifieds. To reel in the hoards, Tim dynamic & engaging marketing campaigns put people at the heart of property.

Tim says that the secret sauce that gets people what they want comes from competent listening, reading people (after a cheeky nudge), & a finely honed sense of intuition to persuade people to take action.

Upon first encounter, many people are struck by Tim’s passion for a diverse range of seemingly disparate pursuits. It's all a ruse however, and ultimately his curiosity & enthusiasm is a ploy to sell you the idea of joining him in a new adventure. Whether he dares you to join him singing on a stage or suggests you leap into an ice bath with him, his primary goal is always to evangelize one of his many whimsical and peculiar pursuits. Licensing his company as an agency in early 2022, Tim's mission is to foster an environment where real estate salespeople can fully utilize their creativity for the benefit of their clients.

Tim's charming, friendly personality and love of the dramatic make him a hit with his clients. He knows how to grab the attention of potential homebuyers with his creative approach. Not only is he a skilled negotiator, but he also has a special talent for building strong relationships with everyone involved in the process. According to Tim, the key to success is all about being a good listener, understanding people, and trusting your instincts. With these skills under his belt, Tim is a pro at helping his clients get what they want.

Before launching his career in real estate, Tim earned a degree in exercise and sport science and completed postgraduate studies in exercise metabolism and exercise physiology. He has put his expertise to use in a variety of roles, including coaching high performance athletes, coaching private and corporate clients, and conducting research as an exercise physiologist on clinical trials of exercise interventions for people preparing for surgery.

Tim is happily hitched to Bronnie, a highly regarded senior nurse and all-around boss. Together, they have a dynamic crew of two rambunctious teenage boys and a feisty daughter to keep them on their toes. When they're not tearing up the trails on their mountain bikes or shredding the slopes on their snowboards, you can find them belting out tunes or splashing around in the water. Tim is a bit of an outdoor enthusiast and is known to brave any weather with his trusty black labrador "Dave" by his side, sporting nothing but his trusty board-shorts. If you're ever strolling along the beaches of Dunedin, keep an eye out for this lively bunch!

Tim knows that in order to make his properties shine, he needs to create marketing campaigns that are dynamic, engaging, and put people first. That's why he's always looking for new and creative ways to showcase his listings. His commitment to empowering real estate agents to use their skills and talents to benefit their clients has led him to start his own agency, McGuire Real Estate Limited, in early 2022. With Tim at the helm, you can be sure that his properties will stand out from the crowd.
